Well we have arrived in Venice and are about to go explore. We have been awake for almost 24 hours and traveling for more than half of that. We might be speaking in fragments and not know what we are saying, but we are here. So here are some photos of our water taxi ride into Venice down the grand canal. Also, we got to roll our luggage from the taxi stop to the hotel. Do not ever do that. The streets are about five feet wide and crowded. Stupid, stupid idea.
This evening we bought a pizza and sat on some random steps on the edge of the canal while watching gondolas go by. And then we decided it was bed time.
fyi - don't have WhatsApp right now. For some reason neither Devon's or my phone will connect. Didn't work in Amsterdam or Venice..so I don't know.
